How detailed should a remote-work policy actually be?
Drafting our first one and not sure where the line is between 'helpful clarity' and 'nobody will read a 10-page document.' What's worked for you?

The thing that made our hybrid onboarding work was a first-week buddy, not more documents
We had plenty of documentation already. What actually helped new remote hires was pairing them with someone for casual questions in week one — stuff too small to put in a doc but too confusing to go unanswered.
